Born in 1997
Lives and works in Seoul
Euysun Kim experiments with various materials working on installation artworks. She was born and grew up in Incheon, a harbour city in Korea, and studied in Nice, France. Since she has always been around the sea, she is interested in building up space with which audiences can be freely engaged. Euysun seeks to propose consolation, recovery, and liberation through her works exploring human spatial cognition. Her works reproduce material experiences in organic ways with natural materials such as plants, wind, and water, and induce the audience's cognition to be exposed to new environments.
